Pink Amethyst from Argentina is a naturally occurring variety of quartz, recognised for its soft pink, peach and mauve tones. The colour is associated with iron within the quartz, but unlike traditional purple Amethyst, the particular mineral chemistry and inclusions present during formation produce its distinctive pink colouring.
Argentinian Pink Amethyst is particularly known for forming inside geodes and cavities, creating sparkling crystal-lined pockets alongside larger, more defined crystal formations. It is a relatively recent addition to the wider crystal market compared with traditional Amethyst and has become a sought-after material for both collectors and decorative specimens.
